Shastha Foods actively participates in many local and national events related to food and culture.
We hosted the 75yrs. Of Independence Mahotsav with Consulate General Of India, San Francisco in 2022. It brought together food critics, elected officials and the local community to interact and experience the rich Indian culture.
Additionally, we host Tasting Events by Shastha Foods, regularly at our facility in San Jose. Tasting Event by Shastha Foods is a curated food experience into the world of many unique Indian vegetarian foods. It is free and open to the public to come and enjoy the joy of simple, natural and wholesome food made with clean ingredients.
Some events in the past have included: Organic Batters, Indian Millets, Indian Heritage Rice, Indian Mangoes, Indian Sweets and Snacks.
Cultural Events
Our CEO Mr Mani had an honor to meet Hon. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Washington DC on Saturday. Organized at the India House, the event celebrated togetherness and India’s diverse cultural festivals! Top officials from US Admin & States were present along with many local community leaders.

The United Nations has declared the year of 2023 as the “Year of Millet”. India is the world leader in Millet cultivation. Shastha Foods is proud to present a wide range of whole grain Millets, Millet Grits, Flours and Noodles combinations to celebrate the nutrient rich and naturally gluten-free grains.
Millet Mahotsav
Shastha Foods is grateful for the opportunity to co-sponsor the event organized by the Consulate General of India in San Francisco, Sri. Dr TV Nagendra Prasad, in collaboration with the University of Silicon Andhra, to celebrate and promote Indian Millets during the International Year of Millets 2023.
The event resonated perfectly with the title “Shree Anna” bestowed upon millets by the Hon. Prime Minister of India.
